New Financial Skills at the Davidbek Games: Idram&IDBank

The financial and digital literacy courses organized by Idram and IDBank made their next stop in the Syunik province. Through the partnership between the Davidbek Games Foundation, Idram, and IDBank, the annual pan-Armenian competition-festival took on a new dimension this time. Alongside overcoming daily challenges and trials, participants had the opportunity to explore the financial world and learn how to protect themselves from financial fraud.

The ‘’Davidbek Games’’ foundation was the beneficiary of ‘’The Power of One Dram’’ initiative in April. The accumulated AMD 5,293,423 enabled the foundation to expand its scope, engaging a larger number of teenagers within the framework of the annual pan-Armenian competition-festival held in Syunik.

According to Vladimir Stepanyan, Manager of IDBank's "Kapan" branch, the partnership enhances teamwork skills among teenagers and promotes their active engagement in community life.

"IDBank and Idram have always prioritized developing financial and digital literacy among young people living in local communities. We aim to educate the youth from an early age to shape a well-informed society," noted Vladimir Stepanyan.

Eduard Atanesyan, Head of the Executive Body of the "Davidbek Games" competition-festival, highly appreciated the cooperation with Idram and IDBank, emphasizing the importance of the acquired knowledge for future decision-making.

‘’Digital and financial tools are of great importance in the modern world. By integrating financial literacy courses into our daily activities, we aim to provide children with sufficient knowledge to use these tools effectively," said Eduard Atanesyan.

Movses Babajanyan, Brand Support Specialist at IDBank and Brand Promotion Project Coordinator at Idram, stated that financial literacy knowledge must be accessible to everyone, everywhere.

"Idram and IDBank's mission to educate the future generation goes beyond training courses. This is precisely why the Idram Junior app was created, which also features the Junius financial tournament. It is a highly useful and irreplaceable tool both for parents to monitor their children's financial activities and for children to learn through an engaging format and make informed decisions in the financial world," noted Movses Babajanyan.
