Orran, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving vulnerable children and the elderly in Armenia, is marking its 25th anniversary with a special Silver Anniversary Gala on September 28, 2025, in Los Angeles, California.

Since its founding in 2000 by Armine and Raffi K. Hovannisian, Orran—meaning “cradle” in Armenian—has been a pillar of compassion, providing daily meals, education, vocational training, and care to over 40,000 families across Yerevan and Vanadzor. This celebration is not just about looking back; it’s about building the future. Over the years, Orran has not only built a strong foundation but also cultivated a thriving global community of compassionate supporters.

Every dollar raised from the gala fuels Orran’s multifaceted programs—providing daily meals to over 270 children, weekly food baskets to 60 seniors, psychological support, cultural outings, and arts workshops—while also supporting rural apprenticeships and delivering sustained aid to displaced Artsakh families.
