This year, the annual Tech Week event was held in Vanadzor. From July 4–6, Vanadzor became the technological capital, filled with guests, industry experts, and simply curious individuals. This year, Idram was a key partner and important participant of the event.
The majority of Tech Week’s guests were, of course, young people who enthusiastically took part in both the workshop organized by Idram and listened attentively to the speech delivered by Idram’s representative.
Within the framework of Tech Week 2025, Aghvan Abrahamyan, Head of SME Engagement at Idram, gave a speech. He spoke about the highly important direction for Idram and IDBank — the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the regions.
“Offering innovative financial and technological solutions to SMEs is not only one of the core business goals for our teams but also one of the main pillars of corporate social responsibility.”
Today, payments with Idram are accepted in more than 25,000 retail locations across Armenia. Notably, the majority of these are SMEs, and 40% of them are regional businesses. This means that even the smallest kiosk in a remote village has the opportunity to join Idram and bring the culture of contactless payments to their local area. By adopting Idram, they also help raise digital literacy and promote the trend of contactless payments in their communities.
The payment tool offered by Idram has the lowest transaction fees among existing solutions today, making it the best offer available for businesses.
Idram also organized a workshop specifically for youth interested in sales. The workshop was led by Hayk Muradyan, Head of Corporate Business Processes and Team Development at Idram. His workshop was titled “Smart Choices Around Money: Decision-Making and the Art of Selling.” During and after the session, participants had the chance to ask questions and further strengthen the knowledge gained, while also establishing new connections with Idram’s representative.
Spartak Kyureghyan, the organizer of Tech Week Armenia, said:
“This is not just an event — it’s an excellent opportunity to share rich experience and deliver new knowledge to a wide audience.”
