Within the framework of the international PLUS Forum held in Yerevan, Armenia, the Arca National Payment System, Bank of Georgia JSC and Ameriabank signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The memorandum aims to define the scope of cooperation between the parties to ensure interoperability between the ArcaPay and the Bank of Georgia instant transfer systems. This initiative will enable instant money transfers between Armenia and Georgia in both directions, enhancing the accessibility and speed of payment services.

Additionally, the parties plan to establish a host-to-host connection between Arca’s processing center and Georgian Card, enabling the acceptance and servicing of Arca payment system cards in Georgia. The cooperation has been made possible through Ameriabank’s active role as a settlement bank, which will ensure efficient and secure processing of interbank settlement flows.
This initiative is aimed at ensuring payment infrastructure interoperability between the two countries and establishing a qualitatively new level of cooperation in both card-based and non-card payment services.
